Therapy for everyone

Addiction: It takes honesty and smart choices to work through the addiction process. I believe that employing cognitive behavioral steps while addressing underlying traumas will facilitate faster healing and recovery.

Parenting and Family changes: Becoming a parent can be one of the most joyful and stressful changes in your life. Caretaking for children is humbling, and even possibly lonely and isolating. In therapy, I can help you with these challenges and more.

Relationships: Being with a loved one, a partner, is wonderful, yet still can be hard work. Once the honeymoon period is over, there you are with all the realities of your chosen person. Who are you in this relationship? Are you arguing more and laughing less? I am a neutral, yet judicious therapist who can help you, or both of you, make it through rough patches.

Working with Children: When you notice your child developing anxiety or disconnecting from relationships, it may be time to see a therapist. I have specific training to work with children, and I can help them develop necessary coping skills that they can use now and in the future.

Women’s Issues: Let’s face it, it can be oppressive being a female in our patriarchal culture. In therapy, we can discuss identity politics and the intersectional oppressions that keep you feeling stuck in an unhealthy world.
